Harald Mehring

Harald Mehring currently serves as the Chief Customer Officer at Diehl Aviation, where participation on the Corporate Division Board occurs since November 2015. Additionally, since January 2023, Harald Mehring has held the position of Vice Chair for the Civil Aviation Business Unit within the Aerospace, Security and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD). In a role as Senator at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) since November 2018, representation of the German Aerospace Industry in the Senate is a key responsibility. Previous experience includes serving as Vice President of Sales at RECARO Aircraft Seating, Director of Sales and Service at Hydro Systems KG, with membership on the Executive Board, and various senior sales roles at Lufthansa Technik AG. Early career roles involved consulting at Rentschler-Rentschler-Kloepfer Consulting and research and development management at Pfeiffer GmbH. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering from the University of Stuttgart, a Master’s in Business Administration from FernUniversität in Hagen, and Tax Counselor certification from the Stuttgart Chamber of Tax Advisors.
