Jaume Jané Abad

Jaume Jané Abad has a diverse range of work experience in the aerospace industry. Their most recent position was as an Aerospace Engineer at Aerospacelab, which they started in September 2020. Prior to that, they worked at GTD as an On-Board Software Validation Engineer of the Solar Orbiter from July 2019 to March 2020, and as an On Board SW Engineer from March 2019 to July 2019. In this role, they were responsible for the development of the star tracker controller for a Geo telecommunications satellite. Their tasks included refining software requirements, elaborating detailed designs, coding in C, implementing custom PUS services, and conducting unit tests. Jaume also worked at Thales Alenia Space as an intern from May 2018 to October 2018, where they focused on the modelling of SpaceWire and SpaceFibre Traffic on NS-3. Additionally, they gained experience as an intern at CLS Groupe, where they studied and developed a base station for the reception of ARGOS messages. Jaume also completed research internships at UPC NanoSat Lab, where they worked on the development of the star tracker subsystem and star identification and tracker algorithms for the 3CAT-2 CubeSat. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Web Applications Developer for Research Surveys at Telefonica Innovation and as an intern at the Institut Català de Nanociència i Nanotecnologia.

Jaume Jané Abad's education history includes the following:

- From 2016 to 2018, Jaume attended ISAE-SUPAERO and pursued a Formation ingénieur - Double diplôme in Aerospace Engineering.

- From 2015 to 2018, Jaume studied at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and earned a Master of Telecommunications Engineering (MET) degree, specializing in Telecommunications Engineering.

- From 2010 to 2014, Jaume completed a Bachelor's degree in Science and Technologies of the Telecommunications at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
