Tendai Kufa

Tendai Kufa has extensive work experience in human resources and administration. They have held various leadership roles, including Principal Human Resources Officer and Senior Human Resources Specialist at ATIDI - African Trade & Investment Development Insurance. In these positions, they were responsible for strategic HR formulation, talent management, organization design, compensation, employee relations, and workforce planning. Tendai also worked at World Vision, where they served as a People and Culture Specialist and Manager, as well as an Interim Regional People and Culture Manager for the East Africa Regional Office. Prior to that, they worked as a Human Resources Superintendent at Rio Tinto, Head of HR and Administration at Nicozdiamond Insurance Limited, and Head or Associate Director at Chess Employment Bureau. Tendai's earlier experience includes roles at Africa University, University of Zimbabwe, and National Archives of Zimbabwe.

Tendai Kufa's education history includes obtaining a BA General degree in English and Economic History from the University of Zimbabwe in the years 1986-1989. They later pursued a Diploma in Training Management from the Institute of Personnel Management, Zimbabwe in 1990-1991. In 1994-1995, Tendai obtained a Diploma in Adult Education from the University of Zimbabwe. They then pursued an Advanced Certificate in Human Resources from IPMZ in 1995-1996. Tendai completed an Executive Master of Business Administration in Human Resources and Management from Africa University in 1999-2002. They also attended Harvard Business School Online in 2021, specializing in Strategy Execution. Tendai is also a member of the Institute of Personnel Management.
