Ken Tsang has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ken started their career at Credit Suisse First Boston in the Technology Investment Banking Group, where they held roles as an Associate and later as a Vice President. Ken then co-founded and managed The Hina Group, a China-focused merchant bank specializing in cross-border private equity investments and M&A advisory services. After that, they worked as a Management Consultant at McKinsey & Company. Ken later joined the Bank of Canada as a Senior Representative, where they played a key role in defining domestic and G20 policies on banking reform. Following that, they worked at BMO Financial Group as Vice President in the Office of Strategic Management. Ken then served as the Chief Financial Officer at Coinsquare before joining Capital One as the CFO & Head of Strategy for Capital One Canada. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Financial Officer at AGF Investments.
Ken Tsang has a BA in Chartered Accountancy from the University of Waterloo and an MBA in Strategic Management from The Wharton School. Ken also holds certifications as a Chartered Accountant from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario) and as a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute.
