Sean P. Reid

Sean P. Reid is the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development at AGNC. Sean has over fifteen years of experience in the financial industry, with a focus on investments and corporate development.

Reid began their career as an Associate at Covington & Burling, where they worked for three years before moving to American Capital in 2005. At American Capital, they served as Vice President of Buyouts for eight years before being promoted to Senior Vice President of Corporate & Business Development at American Capital Agency | American Capital Mortgage in 2013. Sean held this position for three years before joining AGNC Ventures as Chief Executive Officer in 2016. Sean has been with AGNC since 2018.

Sean P. Reid attended the University of Virginia School of Law and received their J.D. Sean also holds a B.B.A. from William & Mary in Accounting. Sean P. Reid is also certified by the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in Series 24, 63, and 7.

Their manager is Gary D. Kain, CEO & CIO. They work with Peter J. Federico - President and Chief Operating Officer, Kasey Reisman - Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Assistant Secretary, and Scott Bost - Vice President and Controller.
