Jorge Moran

Jorge Moran is an experienced agricultural professional currently serving as Corn Line Breeding Manager and Research Data & Analytics Manager at AgReliant Genetics, LLC since February 2022. Prior to this role, Jorge worked as a Senior Scientific Manager at Benson Hill from May 2021 to February 2022. Previous experience includes positions at Bayer, where Jorge was Africa Pipeline Breeding Lead, Technology Deployment for Europe, Africa, and Asia, and Pipeline Lead from August 2018 to May 2021. At Monsanto Company, Jorge held roles as Pipeline Lead and Line Development Breeder from August 2011 to July 2018, and at DuPont Pioneer, Jorge functioned as a Research Scientist and Senior Research Associate specializing in molecular breeding support and product development for Central Mexico from May 2004 to July 2011. Jorge holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Agricultural and Horticultural Plant Breeding from Texas A&M University, and a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy and Crop Science from Zamorano.
