Derek Lieberman

Derek Lieberman possesses 29 years of expertise in environmental investigation and remediation services, with a focus on soil, soil gas, and groundwater monitoring and remediation, as well as assessing per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) at landfill sites. Currently serving as Senior Program Manager and Chief Scientist at Ahtna Global, LLC since March 2007, Derek has also managed the preparation of analytical reports, Quality Assurance Project Plans, and technical reports related to PFAS contamination. Prior to this role, Derek was a Senior Environmental Compliance Specialist at J.M. Waller Associates, Inc. Derek holds a Master's degree in Environmental Management from Yale School of the Environment, an MA in Science, Technology, and Public Policy from The George Washington University, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Geological Engineering from Purdue University College of Engineering.
