Sandy Ward

Sandy Ward is an accomplished HR executive with extensive experience in strategic human resource management across various industries. Currently serving as the General Manager HR Strategic Partnering at AIA Australia since May 2020, Sandy leads the development and execution of people strategies, focusing on employee relations, health and safety, and managing integration post-acquisition. Previous roles include General Manager People & Culture at Chobani, HR Director at Aspire HR, and Head of Human Resources at Bunnings, where Sandy oversaw significant HR functions for large workforces. Early career experiences include HR leadership roles at AXA Asia Pacific and Novartis Consumer Health, complemented by a background in academia as a lecturer at Queensland University of Technology. Sandy holds multiple degrees from QUT and completed the Advanced HR Executive Programme at the University of Michigan.
