Simone Young

Systems Engineer at Airbus US Space & Defense

Simone Young has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Simone started their career as a Heat Exchange/Powertrain Component Intern at Hanon Systems in 2018. Simone later worked at MCA, Inc. as a Field Implementer and then as a Product Development Engineer from 2017 to 2020. In 2020, they joined Williams International as a Rotational Engineer and then progressed to become a Senior Engineer and finally a Team Leader in the Requirements & Reliability department. Currently, they are with Airbus US Space & Defense, Inc. as a Systems Engineer, starting in 2023.

Simone Young completed their education in a chronological manner. Simone first attended Northville High School from 2010 to 2014, where they earned their High School Diploma. Following that, they enrolled at Schoolcraft College from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained an Associates degree in Engineering. Finally, Simone moved on to Michigan State University and studied there from 2016 to 2018, graduating with a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to their formal education, they earned a DFSS Yellow Belt certification from Hanon Systems in May 2018.
