Ron Wein has extensive work experience in the field of voice AI research and speech recognition. Ron is currently serving as the Head of VoiceAI Research at Aircall. Previously, they held the position of Head of Voice AI Research at LogMeIn, where they established the Speech Recognition team and was responsible for developing a proprietary transcription engine. Before that, Ron worked as a Senior AI Researcher at GE Research. Ron also served as the Speech Recognition and Speech Analytics Teams Leader at Verint, leading a team responsible for developing Automatic Speech Recognition modules and next-generation Speech Analytics algorithms. In addition, Ron worked as a Senior Algorithms Developer at Platonix Joint Ventures, Senior Team Leader - Algorithms at RadLive, and as a Team Leader - Speech Recognition at Phonetic Systems. Ron started their career as an Intelligence Officer in the IDF. Ron holds a PhD in Computational Geometry from Tel Aviv University.

Ron Wein earned a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University in 1997, followed by an MSc in Computer Science from the same institution in 2002. Ron then completed their PhD in Computer Science at Tel Aviv University in 2007.
