Daniel Starczewski

Daniel Starczewski has a strong background in IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity, with experience in various senior roles. Daniel is currently serving as the Head of IT Infrastructure & Cybersecurity at AirHelp since August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Cybersecurity Manager at Capgemini from September 2021 to July 2022. Daniel also held the position of Head of Security Operations Center at Santander Bank Polska from April 2020 to August 2021. Before that, they worked as the Head of eDiscovery Data Processing & Hosting Poland (EMEA) at UBS from May 2016 to April 2020. Daniel has also worked as a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant at EY from November 2015 to April 2016 and as an IT Security Expert at Bank Zachodni WBK S.A. from December 2013 to April 2015. Other notable positions include IT Security Service Manager at IBM, Senior IT Security Engineer at Bank Zachodni WBK S.A., Telecommunications & IPT Administrator at Euro Bank S.A., and IT Security Specialist at Asseco Poland.

Daniel Starczewski holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in IT from Politechnika Lubelska, which they obtained from 2001 to 2007. Daniel also has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Applied Computer Science from Higher Vocational School (Państwowa Wyższa Szkoła Zawodowa), which they completed from 2001 to 2005. Prior to their university education, they attended II Secondary School in Zduńska Wola, where they focused on IT with advanced English language studies from 1997 to 2001. Additionally, Daniel has obtained various certifications, including ITIL Foundation in 2011, TEOIC (Test of English for International Communication) - gold in 2010, and gold TEOIC in 2009.
