Gerard Armstrong

Gerard Armstrong is an experienced information security and sports professional with a diverse background in various roles. Currently serving as Information Security Manager at George Best Belfast City Airport since April 2023, Gerard has also held positions at Queen's University Belfast, Telefonica as a Cyber Security Analyst, Cygilant as a Cyber Security Intern, and ANZ during a virtual cybersecurity internship. Gerard's earlier experience includes working in technical support at BT, coaching at Moulton College, and fitness instruction at De La Salle School. Academic qualifications include a postgraduate degree in Software Development and Data Science, a postgraduate degree in Sports and Exercise Nutrition from Ulster University, and a Bachelor of Science in Sports Performance and Coaching from the University of Northampton.
