Gavin Cox

Gavin Cox has extensive work experience in engineering, development, and data analysis. Gavin most recently worked as the Head of Engineering at Aiviq since December 2021. Prior to that, they held the role of Head of Development at Aiviq from January 2019 to December 2021. Before joining Aiviq, Gavin worked at Alpha FMC as the Head of Development (ADS) from February 2019 to December 2021 and as a Senior Developer (AUM Flows) from June 2018 to January 2019. Gavin also owned their own company, SOURCEMUNGO LIMITED, from December 2010 to December 2019. In addition, Gavin worked at various other companies including SourceMungo.NET, MS Amlin, Amlin UK, CMC Europe, Royal Bank of Scotland, Swiftcover.com, and Fluor Ltd, where they held roles in development, data consulting, and analyst development. Gavin'sresponsibilities have included leading teams, automation development, solvency II actuarial development, regulatory reporting projects, and utilizing various programming languages and tools.

Gavin Cox attended Queensburgh Boys High from 1983 to 1987. Gavin then went on to pursue a BSc in Engineering at the University of KwaZulu-Natal from 1988 to 1992.
