Shanice Lawrence

Shanice Lawrence has worked in the medical laboratory field since 2014. Shanice began as a Medical Technologist (Intern) at the National Public Health Laboratory (NPHL) and St. Anns Bay Hospital, both in 2014. In 2018, they became a Medical Laboratory Technologist at QualTex Laboratories. Currently, they are a Clinical Laboratory Scientist at AKESOgen, Inc., a position they have held since 2020.

Shanice Lawrence obtained their High School Diploma from Maggotty High in 2010, where they studied Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and English. Shanice then obtained their BSc. of Science Degree in Medical Technology from Northern Caribbean University in 2014, with a field of study in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist. In 2017, they obtained a Medical Laboratory Scientist certification from the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP).
