Perla J. Sandoval

Perla J. Sandoval is a scientist at La Jolla Labs. Perla received their undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago in 2018 and their graduate degree from the University of California San Diego in 2022. Her research focuses on the role of the tyrosine kinase EPHA2 in mammary epithelial cells. Perla has also conducted research on the 3D culture system composed of gelatin methacrylate hydrogels and the split-GFP Twist1 knock-in cell line to study cancer mechanotransduction.
