Katie Wachtel

Katie Wachtel has a solid background in regulatory affairs and scientific research. Their most recent role was as the Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at Akouos since September 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Regulatory Affairs Lead at Spark Therapeutics, Inc. for six years. Katie also gained experience as a Clinical Research Regulatory Specialist at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and as a Scientific Program Analyst at the National Cancer Institute. Earlier in their career, Katie worked as an Associate Scientist at Intrexon Corporation and Avalon Pharmaceuticals. Katie started their professional journey as a Co-op at GlaxoSmithKline.
