Mohamed Mokbel has over 20 years of experience in journalism and broadcasting. Mohamed began their career in 1998 as a Television Presenter at the Egyptian Radio & Television Union, where they hosted an on-air talk show and covered international festivals. In 2005, they worked as a News Editor and Broadcaster at SWEgypt- VCs before joining Middle East Broadcasting Networks in 2009. At Middle East Broadcasting Networks, they served as a Radio Broadcaster Journalist, producing features and monitoring news sources. In 2014, they took on the role of News Writer at Al Hurra T.V., where they developed, wrote, and narrated news stories in classical Arabic. Throughout their career, Mohamed has demonstrated the ability to work under deadline pressure and provide a well-balanced news feed.
Mohamed Mokbel attended the College de la Sainte Famille (Jesuite) from 1991 to 1993, where they obtained an Alliance Française certificate and an Egyptian Baccalaureate. Mohamed then pursued higher education at Cairo University - Faculty of Mass Communication from 1993 to 1997, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication, Journalism, and Related Programs. Later, in 2005 to 2006, Mohamed enrolled in the Filiere Francophone du Journalisme program, which was a joint effort between Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II) and Cairo University, to further enhance their journalistic skills.
