Peter Brown has worked in the technology industry since 1977. Peter began their career at Digital Equipment Corporation, where they held multiple supply chain and Senior manufacturing positions, interfaced directly with Engineering, and introduced products into manufacturing. Peter also became Corporate Telecommunication Manager with Global responsibility for telecommunications products. In 1994, they joined Cargill as Vice President of Information Technology Operations, managing a $40M budget and designing and implementing the support structure for the company's global UNIX and Novell services. From 1999 to 2010, they worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as Director of IT - Global Shared Services. Theirmost recent role was at Aliado Solutions, LLC., where they served as COO - Global IT Security Practice Manager and Practice Manager. In this role, they were a technology-focused leader with extensive operational and strategy IT Security experience. Peter was responsible for business results, integrating IT Security with the business, and IT service delivery strategies, including metrics tied to personal goals.
Peter Brown attended Northeastern University from 1965 to 1970, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. Peter then attended Dartmouth College Thayer School of Engineering from 1970 to 1972, where they earned a Master of Science. Finally, they attended The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth from 1970 to 1973, where they earned a Master of Business Administration with a focus on integrating technology and business.
