Dave Herman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in law enforcement, martial arts, and education. Currently serving as a Deputy Sheriff Investigator in the Warrant Squad at Nassau County Sheriff's Department since February 2015, Dave also has a background in domestic violence intervention as a Deputy Sheriff. As the Founder and Chief Instructor of New Generation Karate, established in 1998, Dave has built a nationally recognized martial arts school. Additionally, Dave is an active shooter response and firearms instructor, certified by the FBI and NRA, providing training for both law enforcement and civilians. Dave's experience in the entertainment industry includes work as a background actor with special abilities related to SWAT and martial arts. Previous roles include serving as President of the Franklin Square Chamber of Commerce and directing a self-defense camp at Hofstra University. Dave Herman holds a B.A. in Education from Molloy University, further enhancing a career dedicated to teaching and community service.
