Brendan Bell

Brendan Bell has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Brendan is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer & Managing Director at Aligned Climate Capital, where they help large investors deploy capital into climate infrastructure and other climate change solutions. Prior to this, Brendan was a Director at Summit Ridge Energy and Swell Energy, focusing on energy projects. Brendan also served as a Director at ChargeNet Stations and SWTCH, both in the renewable energy sector. Earlier in their career, Brendan worked as an Advisor at Boundary Stone Partners, providing investment advice, and as a Principal at Aligned Intermediary, where they facilitated investments in climate infrastructure projects. Brendan's experience also includes being the Director of Strategic Initiatives at the U.S. Department of Energy and a Legislative Assistant in the United States Senate.

Brendan Bell obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from Macalester College from 1998 to 2002. Prior to that, they attended Phillips Exeter Academy from 1994 to 1998. Later, they pursued a Master of Public Management degree at the University of Maryland School of Public Policy from 2008 to 2010.
