Geoffrey Mitchell

Geoffrey Mitchell has a diverse work experience across various companies. Geoffrey started their career as a Test Engineer at UNH InterOperability Lab in 2003 and worked there until 2010. Geoffrey then joined Enterasys Networks as an SQA Engineer for a year before transitioning into a Software Engineer role. At Enterasys Networks, they developed and maintained software for Ethernet switching devices, focusing on user authentication and control protocols. During this time, they also worked on MIB and CLI interfaces, data distribution and retrieval, and implementing protocols and features.

In 2013, Geoffrey joined Extreme Networks, where they developed firmware on the ExtremeXOS operating system. Geoffrey played a key role in porting Enterasys software to the Extreme software platform after the merger between the two companies. Geoffrey also worked in a small team to deliver new features, fix bugs, and refactor legacy code.

In 2015, Geoffrey joined InsightSquared as a Software Engineer. Here, they worked on the core platform for their Django-based BI application. Geoffrey'sresponsibilities included backend work in Python and frontend work in CoffeeScript/CSS. Geoffrey built an event-driven ETL pipeline as a serverless application using AWS technologies and containerized the BI application within Docker for better REST API serving.

From 2019 to 2022, Geoffrey worked at PathAI as a Senior Software Engineer. Geoffrey was part of a team creating a platform for digital pathology and machine learning. Geoffrey was a full-stack developer, utilizing Typescript/Vue and Python/Django. Geoffrey'snotable accomplishments include building, testing, and documenting a platform that received 510k FDA clearance. Geoffrey also designed and executed protocols to document substantial equivalence between their device and a predicate device.

Geoffrey's most recent work experience is at Aliro Quantum, starting in 2023, where they serve as a Software Engineer.

From 2001 to 2005, Geoffrey Mitchell attended the University of New Hampshire, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
