Mohammad Abu Odeh, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Scientist at AlivaMab Biologics, having previously held roles as Scientist II and Scientist in Antibody Development since August 2020. Prior to this, Mohammad was a Visiting Scientist and Postdoctoral Researcher at UC San Diego from April 2016 to April 2022, focusing on the mechanisms of action of drugs for Diabetes and Obesity through studies in obese mice. Mohammad earned a PhD in Cancer Research and Genomic Instability from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem between 2010 and 2015, and holds a Master of Science in Clinical Biochemistry from Jordan University of Science and Technology (2006-2009), along with a Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from Al-Quds University (1999-2003). Earlier experience includes a research assistantship at Al-Quds University School of Medicine from March 2003 to March 2006.
