Deo Mujwara

Deo Mujwara, PhD, is an accomplished health economist with a strong focus on health economics and outcomes research. Currently serving as an Associate at Analysis Group since January 2022, Deo also holds the position of Health Economist at Allelica, where responsibilities include developing economic models for the cost-effectiveness of polygenic risk scores in clinical settings. Previous academic roles include Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Virginia Commonwealth University, where modeling for HIV prevention strategies was a key task, and Graduate Teaching Assistant at Georgia State University, focused on econometrics courses. Earlier career experiences include program evaluation as a Research Assistant at the Housing Authority of DeKalb County and field survey supervision at Uganda Bureau of Statistics. Deo's educational background encompasses a PhD in Healthcare Policy and Research from Virginia Commonwealth University, a Master’s in Economics from Georgia State University, and a Bachelor's in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from Makerere University.
