Derek Jardon

Derek Jardon has a diverse work experience starting with their current roles as MFG Engineering Manager at ALMACO and Sr. Project Engineer at B&G Foods Inc., both starting in 2021. Prior to that, they were a Project Engineer, Staff Engineer, and Maintenance Engineer at Hormel Foods from 2014-2021. Derek also held the role of Engineering Intern at GNP Company from 2013-2014 and Supervisor/Customer Service at Fareway Stores, Inc. from 2005-2011. Before that, they worked as a Freezer Picker at Farner-Bocken Co from 2011-2013.

Derek Jardon's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Food and Biomaterials Engineering and an Engineer's Degree in Agricultural Engineering (Food and Bio-materials) from South Dakota State University, obtained between 2009 and 2014. Derek also holds certifications from the Refrigerating Engineers & Technicians Association (CARO), SMRP (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional), Garden City Ammonia Program: GCAP (GCAP), and Noria Corporation (MLT1).
