Alexander Traub

Alexander Traub is Chief Commercial Officer and Regional Executive Asia Pacific.

Alex joined Alter Domus in January 2018. He has had a broadly diversified 18 year career in financial services, almost all of which has been spent in Asia with the last 10 years in Singapore.

Starting out in wealth management he moved to the buy side working for alternative asset managers and family offices focused on asset raising across multiple hedge fund strategies, commodities and emerging and frontier market equities. Latterly he was involved in the structuring and manager selection process for a number of emerging and frontier market funds.

Moving into fund and corporate services in 2013 he spent the last 4 years building the Asian business of a global private equity and real estate fund services group from a 4 person office in Singapore to approximately 300 people across 3 locations at the end of 2017. The business was widely seen as being the top 1 or 2 specialist group in the region.

Alex graduated from Oxford Brooks University in England with a degree in Business Studies and French.
