Jonathan Shih

Jonathan Shih has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Jonathan started their career as a Graduate Student Researcher at Saul and Ida Epstein Memorial Lab, UCSF in 2005, followed by a role as a Graduate Student Researcher at Keck Center for Integrative Neuroscience, UCSF from 2006 to 2012. Jonathan then worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at UC San Francisco, Department of Otolaryngology from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, they co-founded Decisive Health, where they helped patients understand their medical bills and health insurance coverage. Jonathan continued to work at Decisive Health until 2016. In 2014, they briefly worked as an Entrepreneur at Blueprint Health LLC. From 2016 to 2020, they held various positions at Clover Health, including Senior Data Scientist and Manager, Head of Growth Analytics. Currently, they are working at Alto Pharmacy as a Director of Analytics since 2020.

Jonathan Shih attended Stanford University from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Jonathan then pursued their PhD in Bioengineering at both the University of California, San Francisco and the University of California, Berkeley from 2004 to 2012.
