Eric Hawes

Eric Hawes is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product development and technology leadership, primarily at Altria since 2001. Currently serving as Sr Director of Heated Tobacco Product Development, Eric leads engineering projects focused on reduced-risk tobacco and cannabis strategies. Previous roles at Altria include Director of E-Vapor Technology and Platform Development, where Eric spearheaded new technology initiatives, and Director of Product Innovation, overseeing the successful commercialization of Altria's first e-vapor product. Prior to Altria, Eric held key positions at Vista Information Technologies and SRA International, and served as an Operations Research Analyst in the United States Marine Corps. Eric holds a BS in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and an MS in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School.
