Jonah Lazar

Jonah Lazar has extensive experience in cyber security, software development, video production, and IT. Jonah began their career in 2013 as a Student Technician for Fairfax County Public Schools. In 2014, they worked as an IT Intern and Video Editor for Zarca Interactive. The following year, they were a Video Producer and Motion Graphic Artist for the same company. In 2015, they were an Instructor for the Marshall Academy Cyber Security Camp, teaching a week-long course in advanced cyber security topics, tools, and techniques to high school students. In 2016, they were a Full Stack Software Developer Intern for TMA, developing every layer of a web application from the ground up. From 2018 to 2021, they were a Cyber Security Engineer for ProAptiv Corporation, and is currently a Cyber Security Engineer for Altus Consulting Corporation.

Jonah Lazar's education history includes a Master of Science in Cyber Security from the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, which they are currently enrolled in and expected to complete in 2023. Jonah also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from Christopher Newport University, which they completed in 2018. Prior to that, they obtained an Advanced High School Diploma from George C. Marshall High School in 2014. In addition, Jonah has obtained several certifications, including Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) from Offensive Security in 2018, MTA: Networking Fundamentals, MTA: Security Fundamentals, MTA: Windows Operating System Fundamentals, and MTA: Windows Server Administration Fundamentals - all from Microsoft in 2016, and CompTIA A+ ce Certification from CompTIA in 2014.
