Jennifer Whincup

Jennifer Whincup is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in commercial litigation, currently serving as Senior Legal Counsel at Altus Group since June 2023. Prior to this role, Jennifer held the same title at ADP from September 2017 to June 2023 and worked as an Associate at DLA Piper between April 2015 and August 2017. Jennifer's expertise includes insolvency law, corporate commercial law, insurance law, construction law, administrative law, and various types of disputes across all levels of Ontario courts. Jennifer also spent several years at Davis LLP, starting as a Summer Student and ultimately serving as an Associate. Jennifer's educational background encompasses a JD from the University of Toronto and the University of Cincinnati, as well as a Master’s in Economics from Carleton University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Economics, Development Studies, and Life Sciences from Queen's University. Additionally, Jennifer contributed to the Ontario Bar Association as a Member of Council and in the Student Division Executive.
