Jessica Kanalas

Jessica Kanalas has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jessica is currently working as the Director of Site Merchandising at Amaze since July 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Director of Ecommerce Merchandising at Things Remembered from December 2021 to July 2022. Jessica also worked as a Senior Manager of Ecommerce Merchandising at Things Remembered from May 2021 to December 2021.

Before joining Things Remembered, Jessica worked at Altar'd State as a Senior Manager of Ecommerce Merchandising from September 2018 to March 2021. Jessica'sresponsibilities included product ownership, merchandising, and driving ecommerce demand for the Altar'd State and A'Beautiful Soul brands. Jessica played a key role in the transition from Magento to Salesforce Commerce Cloud and the launch of a new website for both brands.

Jessica also has experience in the retail industry, having worked at DSW. Jessica served as an Online Merchandiser from March 2017 to September 2018, responsible for driving demand and supporting merchandise strategies. Prior to this, they held roles as an Associate Online Merchandiser and Assistant Online Merchandiser.

Additionally, in the early stages of their career, Jessica worked as a Freelance Photographer for ThisWeek Community News from August 2012 to December 2013. Jessica also gained experience as a Photography Intern at The Vindicator Printing Company from June 2011 to June 2012 and as a Photo Editor at Daily Kent Stater, Kent State University from August 2010 to December 2010. In these roles, they demonstrated their skills in photography, team management, and editorial coordination.

Jessica Kanalas attended Kent State University from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Visual Journalism.
