Lorenzo Ziller

Lorenzo Ziller is a skilled geotechnical engineer with extensive experience in tunneling and geotechnical design. Currently serving as a Junior Project Manager and Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Amberg Engineering since March 2022, Lorenzo has previously held positions at BERNARD Gruppe, SWS Engineering S.p.A., and hbpm Ingenieure GmbH, where key projects included the Mühlauer Quelle in Innsbruck and the Silkyara-Barkot Tunnel in India. Lorenzo's expertise encompasses complex FEM analyses using Plaxis software, design and supervision of various geotechnical works following Eurocodes, and site management for large-scale projects such as the Brenner Base Tunnel. Lorenzo holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Università di Trento, as well as an Academic NATM Engineer degree in Tunnelling Engineering from Technische Universität Graz.
