Candace Cavalier

Candace Cavalier has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of Human Resources. Candace began their career as the Director of HR & Benefits at Acosta Sales & Marketing in 1995, where they built the HR department from scratch and implemented various programs to enhance employee satisfaction and retention. In 2000, they joined AAR CORP. as the Group VP of Human Resources, where they successfully drove global talent acquisition initiatives and focused on employee engagement through surveys, focus groups, and community outreach. In 2020, they became the Human Resources Director at Lansing School District 158, overseeing HR operations until 2021. Currently, they serve as the Director of Human Resources at the American Bar Association, where they are responsible for leading the HR department and supporting the organization's mission. Candace's work experience demonstrates their strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and dedication to driving results in the field of Human Resources.

Candace Cavalier holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management, with a focus in Psychology from DePaul University. Candace has also obtained certifications such as SHRM-CP from the Society of Human Resources in January 2015, and Professional in Human Resources - PHR from the HR Certification Institute in 1999.
