Dr. Tiffany Smith has a diverse work experience in higher education administration, with a focus on student development, Indigenous methodologies, research, and career support. Tiffany has served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, teaching courses related to higher education. Tiffany also worked as the Director of Research and Career Support at the American Indian Science and Engineering Society. At Oklahoma City University, they held positions as the Director of Student Engagement and the Director of Career Services. Dr. Smith was also involved in various roles at the Association for the Study of Higher Education and NASPA - Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education, including leadership positions within Indigenous Peoples Knowledge Community. Tiffany has a background in engineering as well, having served as the Founding Director of the Women in Engineering Program and Director of Engineering Student Life at the University of Oklahoma. Tiffany Smith, Ph.D., earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations with a minor in Sociology from the University of Oklahoma in 2004. Tiffany then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Adult and Higher Education with a focus on Student Personnel Services from the University of Oklahoma's Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education in 2008. Continuing their academic journey, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Student Affairs/Higher Ed Administration at the same institution's Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education from 2012 to 2019.
