Mohamed S. Hassan

Mohamed S. Hassan has a diverse work experience. Mohamed S. worked as a Sr. Director of Data Analytics, Compliance & Digital Programs at American Paradigm Schools, where they managed the integration of educational platforms and developed guides for teachers to utilize student data in the classroom. Mohamed S. also served as a High School Program Coordinator at College Possible, overseeing AmeriCorps service members and implementing national training curriculum. Hassan worked as an Adjunct Faculty member at Rowan University from 2015 to 2019, teaching various courses. Mohamed S. was also an Instructor at Temple University, teaching courses on death, religion, and LGBTQ studies. Hassan served as a Visiting Lecturer at Philadelphia University and Ursinus College, and worked as a Freelance Curator and Collections Intern at the Queens Historical Society.

Mohamed S. Hassan began their education journey in 2006 at Queens College - CUNY, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Biology. Mohamed S. completed their undergraduate studies in 2009.

In 2010, Mohamed enrolled at Queens College once again to pursue a Master of Arts degree. During their time there, they focused on Comparative Religion, Gender Studies, and Medieval History. Mohamed S. successfully completed their master's program in 2012.

After obtaining their master's degree, Mohamed S. Hassan went on to Temple University in 2012. Mohamed S. embarked on a journey to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Religious Studies. As of now, they are still in the process of completing their doctoral program, which is expected to conclude in 2024.

In addition to their academic degrees, Mohamed also obtained several certifications. In 2021, they received a Data Analytics certification from Cornell University and became a Google Certified Educator Level 1 through Google for Education. In 2014, they acquired the Teaching In Higher Education [THE] certification from The Teaching and Learning Center and the College of Education. Lastly, in 2020, Mohamed obtained the Level 4: Clever Champion certification from Clever Inc.
