Elizabeth Garrett-Mayer

Elizabeth Garrett-Mayer, PhD, FSCT has a diverse work experience in the field of biostatistics and research data governance. Elizabeth is currently serving as the Vice President for the Center of Research and Analytics at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) since January 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Division Director for Biostatistics and Research Data Governance at ASCO from July 2017 to January 2022.

Before joining ASCO, Elizabeth worked at the Hollings Cancer Center at the Medical University of South Carolina. Elizabeth served as a Professor of Biostatistics from July 2012 to July 2017. During their tenure at the same institution, they also held the positions of Director of Biostatistics from February 2007 to July 2017, and Biostatistician and Associate Professor from February 2007 to June 2012.

Elizabeth's earlier experience includes working at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where they served as an Assistant Professor from 2000 to 2007.

Prior to that, they attended Bowdoin College from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Mathematics and Economics, with a minor in Classics.
