Iu-Aran Fernández Perucho

Iu-Aran Fernández Perucho is currently an R&D Engineer and Industrial PhD candidate in Materials Science at Universitat de Barcelona since July 2021. Prior experience includes a Master's Thesis role at GKN Aerospace from January to July 2021, an R&D Project Intern position at Höganäs AB focusing on the "Characterization of Hardfacing Overlays" from September 2020 to January 2021, and a Laboratory Intern at AMES-Sintered Metallic Components from October 2017 to April 2020. Iu-Aran's educational background comprises a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Engineering from Universitat de Barcelona, followed by dual Master of Science degrees in Erasmus Mundus Advanced Materials Science & Engineering from Luleå University of Technology and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Additionally, a course in Agile Project Management with Scrum was completed at CEAM Metal in early 2022.
