Jessica Ward

Jessica Ward is a seasoned professional in clinical pharmacology and nursing, currently serving as the Director of Clinical Pharmacology at Amgen since January 2022, where leadership of the clinical pharmacology team for phase 1 studies is a primary focus. Prior to this role, Jessica held significant positions at bluebird bio and Children's Hospital Los Angeles, including Senior Principal Scientist and Senior Manager of Scientific Communications, respectively. A background in pediatric nursing as a Nurse Practitioner at multiple esteemed institutions and a track record of clinical research as a Principal Investigator further enrich Jessica's expertise. Academic credentials include a PhD in Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science from Rush University, complemented by two Master's degrees from Yale University and Yale School of Public Health, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Syracuse University.
