Swati Ghatpande

Swati Ghatpande, PhD, is a seasoned professional in scientific communications, currently serving as Senior Manager of Scientific Communications at Amgen since July 2024. Prior to this role, Swati held various positions at Vaniam Group from February 2013 to July 2024, including Director and Associate Director of Scientific Communications, as well as Senior and Medical Writer. Swati's early career included roles as a Freelance Medical Writer at Cactus Communications and as a Freelance Manuscript Editor for BioScience Editors, MedSci Editing, and UniEdit from 2009 to 2013. Swati also contributed to research as a Post Doctoral Researcher at UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2009. Swati earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Master’s Degree in Zoology and Genetics from the University of Pune.
