Haichen Yang

Haichen Yang, MD, MA, MBA has an extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Haichen is currently serving as the Vice President of Clinical Research at Amicus Therapeutics. Prior to this, they held the position of Vice President, Global Therapeutic Lead, Neuroscience at ICON plc, where they provided strategic consulting to senior executives of biotech/pharmaceutical companies and conducted due diligence for major investors. Before that, Haichen Yang worked as a Senior Director at Eisai Inc, where they directed the global clinical program for Perampanel (Fycompa®) and obtained marketing authorization worldwide. Haichen also held the position of Clinical Program Director at UCB, leading the Keppra® Pediatric Clinical Program. Haichen Yang has experience in directing global clinical development strategies and overseeing life cycle management for Solvay Pharmaceuticals as an Associate Director. Haichen Yang, MD, MA, MBA has a strong educational background. In 1985 to 1990, they attended Peking University Health Science Center and obtained a Bachelor of Medicine (MD Equivalent) degree. From 1992 to 1994, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Molecular Biology at Indiana University Bloomington. Most recently, from 2018 to 2020, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Strategic Management at the Fox School of Business at Temple University.
