Hanshen Li has worked as a Battery Engineer at Ampcera Inc. since 2022, and as a Process Engineer at View, Inc. since 2022. In 2021, they were a Graduate Student at Cornell University, where they developed high capacity Lithium sulphur batteries, improved the coulombic efficiency and battery retention rate over 100 cycles, and collaborated with a team of 5 for slurry casting and electrospray to increase lithium sulphur battery capacity. Hanshen was also a Team Leader at Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management in 2021. From 2019 to 2021, they were a Research Assistant at the University of California, Los Angeles, where they reviewed research papers and articles to identify different ways of extracting sulphur from waste coal, developed a scientific understanding of electrochemistry principles to develop pseudo capacitors, performed Cyclic voltammetry and Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy, and analysed the data to develop process plan of extracting sulphur to manufacture pseudo capacitors.
Hanshen Li obtained a Bachelor of Engineering - BE in Chemical Engineering from Hebei University of Technology from 2016 to 2020. Hanshen is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering - MEng in Chemical Engineering at Cornell University, which they began in 2021.
