Christof Eichert

Christof Eichert is an experienced software engineering leader currently serving as Division Manager of Software Engineering and Department Manager of Software Development at Analytik Jena since September 2022. Previously, Christof held the position of Head of Application Server Software at Siemens Healthineers from October 2016 to August 2022, where responsibilities included leading agile engineering teams and managing application lifecycle in regulated environments. Christof's career spans over two decades, including roles as Manager of Application Server Software and Lead Software Architect at Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, and Senior Lead Software Engineer at Dade Behring Marburg GmbH. Early in the career, Christof contributed as a Senior Software Engineer Team Lead at ResMed Deutschland GmbH and a Senior Software Engineer in Research Development at MAP Medizintechnik. Christof holds a Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Automation Technology and a degree as a Medical Physicist with specialization in Clinical Engineering from the University of Kaiserslautern, as well as certification as a Software Architect from Siemens Professional Education.
