Ameen Eetemadi

Ameen Eetemadi is a Senior Data Scientist at Ancestry since April 2022, with prior experience as a Software Consultant from December 2021 to April 2022. Eetemadi contributed to research at UC Davis from 2014 to 2021 as a Graduate Student Researcher, developing a deep proteome inference method using convolutional neural networks. An internship at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory was held in 2015, and Eetemadi worked at Microsoft from August 2008 to September 2014 as a Software Development Engineer and a Software Development Engineer in Test, focusing on feature development for Windows OneNote and quality assurance for .Net libraries and services. Prior roles include a Research Assistant at Henry Ford Health System from 2005 to 2008, where Eetemadi developed a predictor of surgery success for epilepsy patients. Eetemadi holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis, a Master’s Degree from Wayne State University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
