Paul DiGiacomo

Paul DiGiacomo has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. Paul currently serves as the VP of Professional Development at SCTE, a subsidiary of CableLabs, where they work with industry leaders to provide training, education, and support to individuals in the field. Paul is also an Associate Board Member at SCTE.

Paul is the Co-Founder/Owner & Managing Partner of WV Lighthouse LLC, a company they started in 2021.

Previously, Paul worked at Communications Unlimited Inc. as the Director of Operations - Construction & OSP. In this role, they oversaw the launch of CUI's Construction & OSP Operations in the MD, WV, VA, DC & DE area and developed partnerships with MSOs, vendors, and subcontracting firms. Paul focused on diversifying critical personnel to achieve the company's commitment to quality service.

Before that, Paul was a Senior Project Manager, Deployment at Telamon, where they worked with skilled technical, project, and sales individuals to drive market growth and operational excellence. Paul also coordinated with various departments to complete central office installations and testing for Ciena accounts.

Paul held multiple positions at Comcast, including Technical Operations Manager, Commercial Operations Manager, Network Maintenance Supervisor, and Network Maintenance Technician/Communications Technician. In these roles, they oversaw installation and service technicians, managed technical operations for Comcast Business in the Greater Washington DC area, led teams of network technicians for cable plant maintenance and repair, and performed network maintenance and communication technician responsibilities.

Paul DiGiacomo has a comprehensive education history in the field of business administration, management, and operations. Paul started their educational journey in 2002, attending Montgomery College, where they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Criminal Justice in 2005.

In 2015, Paul enrolled at the University of Maryland Global Campus and pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations. Paul completed their studies in 2017, gaining in-depth knowledge in various aspects of business management.

Seeking to further enhance their skills and knowledge, Paul pursued another Bachelor of Science degree, this time from the University of Phoenix. Paul engaged in the program from 2018 to 2020, focusing on Business Administration, Management and Operations.

In addition to their formal education, Paul DiGiacomo has obtained several certifications to expand their expertise. These certifications include "IT Service Management Foundations: Tools" from LinkedIn, obtained in December 2022, as well as "OSHA 30: General Industry" from 360 Training Center, obtained in November 2022. Furthermore, Paul has gained expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM), construction management, and construction industry safety through a series of LinkedIn certifications earned in August 2021. Paul has also acquired the certification of "Certified Forklift Operator" from Liftoff Certifications, obtained in November 2022.
