Dillon Camp

Dillon Camp has over five years of work experience in the tech industry. In 2022, they began working as a Data DevOps Engineer for Anvilogic. Prior to that, they were a Security Engineer at AttackIQ from 2021 to 2018. Dillon also worked as a Cyber Security Engineer and Associate Engineer - Network Capacity Strategy at T-Mobile from 2018 to 2017. During 2017, they also worked as a Freelance Data Scientist. In 2016, they were a Data Scientist: Master's Thesis at Baylor University, where they conducted an in-depth economic data analysis and research report required for graduation. Dillon studied the relationship between payday lending laws and personal bankruptcy, collecting and managing multiple comprehensive datasets on payday lending, bankruptcy filings, and state-level economic metrics such as gross state product and unemployment rates. Dillon utilized Excel, R, and Stata to analyze data using differences-in-differences approach.

Dillon Camp attended Baylor University from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained a degree in Finance, Baylor Business Fellows, and Spanish minor. In 2011, they attended St. Louis University of Madrid. In 2014, they returned to Baylor University and obtained a Master of Science in Economics in 2017. In November 2017, they obtained certifications in Managing Big Data with MySQL from Coursera and R from DataCamp.
