Marcel Hugentobler

Marcel Hugentobler has over 30 years of work experience. Marcel is currently the Head of Apgar Switzerland at Apgar Consulting, a leading data advisory company. In their previous role at Butos AG, they were the Head of Product-Development & -Management, where they coordinated and planned various aspects of the process, including roadmap planning, reviewing specifications, resource planning, and developing prototypes. Prior to that, Marcel worked at Credit Suisse for over 21 years, serving as the Head of Data Management Solutions and Senior Project Manager. Marcel also had experience managing an off-shore team in India and worked as a Business Analyst and Developer. Marcel began their career at Kuoni as a System Analyst and later became a Corporate Travel Consultant.

In 2014, Hugentobler received a certification as a Certified Professional for Requirements Engineering / Foundation Level (IREB) from the Swiss Association for Quality (SAQ). This certification focused on Requirements Engineering.

From 2001 to 2003, Hugentobler attended KV Business School Zürich and earned a Swiss Federal Diploma in IT Engineering (eidg. dipl. Wirtschaftsinformatiker) with a field of study in Wirtschaftsinformatik.

In 1998 to 1999, Hugentobler attended KV Business School Zürich and obtained the Informatiker mit eidgenössischem Fachausweis degree in Wirtschaftinformatik.

In 1993 to 1994, Hugentobler studied at WISS Schulen für Wirtschaft Informatik Immobilien and earned a Leistungsausweis in KS Diplom-Kaderkurs.

In 1989, Hugentobler completed the First Certificate in English from the University of Cambridge, with a study focus on Englisch.

From 1986 to 1989, Hugentobler attended Kaufmännische Berufsschule St. Gallen and earned an Eidgenössisches Fähigkeitszeugnis as a Kaufmännischer Angestellter.
