Amanda Hall

Amanda Hall, PhD, is a seasoned medical writer and communications specialist currently serving as a Senior Medical Writer and Line Manager at MEDiSTRAVA, an Inizio Company, since June 2022. In this role, Amanda leads client meetings to manage projects and develops manuscripts and abstracts in compliance with GPP guidelines. Prior experience includes serving as a Medical Communications Manager at sixsense strategy group, where Amanda prepared project proposals and managed regulatory review processes, as well as working as a Medical Communications Writer, producing diverse medical deliverables. Amanda's background also includes freelance scientific editing at Cactus Communications and research at MaRS Discovery District, where investigation into retrotransposon regulators provided insights into cancer and neurodegenerative diseases. Educational qualifications encompass a PhD in Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology from the University of Toronto, a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Trent University, and an Ontario College Advanced Diploma in Biotechnology from Durham College.
