Mark Yanaros

Mark Yanaros is an experienced information security professional currently serving as the Manager of Security Engineering at AppFolio, Inc. since June 2017, where responsibilities include managing the Infrastructure Security team. Yanaros has progressed through multiple roles at AppFolio, including Senior Security Engineer and Application Security Engineer Intern, contributing to security assessments, incident response, and the deployment of security systems. Prior to this, extensive experience includes various software engineering internships at AppFolio, where projects involved creating web application security tools and automating accounting tasks. Yanaros also demonstrated leadership skills as a Cadet Second Lieutenant with the Civil Air Patrol, commanding a cadet squadron and leading training initiatives.
