Ryland Degnan

Ryland Degnan is an experienced engineering leader with a strong background in software development and innovative system design. Currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Apple since 2022, Ryland previously held significant roles at Twitter as an Engineering Manager, and at Reactive Foundation as the Technical Oversight Committee Chair. As the CTO and Co-Founder of Netifi from 2017 to 2020, Ryland contributed to the development of a next-generation reactive microservices platform. Prior experience includes roles at Netflix as a Senior Software Engineer, where contributions were made to the Netflix Edge Platform, as well as at Mr. Number, Cisco Systems, and Tandberg, focusing on scalable software solutions. Ryland holds a Master's degree with distinction in Software Engineering from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Harvard University.
