Shuntaro Sasai has worked in the field of research for over seven years. Shuntaro began their career in 2013 as a Research Associate at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In the following year, they were promoted to Assistant Scientist and then to Honorary Fellow. In 2020, they joined Araya Inc. as Director and Chief Research Officer, and later became Vice President for Research and Team Leader of the Neurotechnology R&D Unit. In this role, they lead a research team as a principal investigator, with the aim of developing a brain-to-brain interface enabling direct communications.
Shuntaro Sasai received a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Biology from The University of Tokyo between 2005 and 2009. Shuntaro then completed a Master's Degree in Physical and Health Education from The University of Tokyo between 2009 and 2011. Finally, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physical and Health Education from The University of Tokyo between 2011 and 2013.
