Gavin Byrnes

Gavin Byrnes has a diverse work experience spanning over 16 years. Gavin started their career in 2004 as a Corporate Counsel at AXA, where they were responsible for financial services products. Gavin then joined AusNet Services as a Senior Corporate Counsel in 2008 before moving to GE as a Legal Counsel in 2009. In 2013, Gavin joined Allianz Partners where they held multiple roles, including General Counsel and Company Secretary for the Asia Pacific region, as well as the leader of the competition law program and legal network. In 2019, they joined iSelect as the General Counsel and Company Secretary. Gavin is currently serving as the Executive Director - Legal, Governance and Risk at the Archdiocese of Brisbane since April 2020. Gavin's extensive experience in legal, governance, and compliance has allowed him to work across various industries and regions.
